Who I Am
I am a 15 year-old rising sophomore at Carmel High School with a strong passion for both math and music. While I am relatively new to formal tutoring, I have consistently worked to help my peers in school - especially in math - and I'm excited to apply that experience in one-on-one instruction. My goal is to help your student gain confidence and reach their full potential - whether in academics or in the arts - and enjoy that process as much as possible. I aim to make learning personal, approachable, and rewarding for every student. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy programming, working out, playing viola, and spending time with friends.

Why Me?
Passion and Enthusiasm:
I really enjoy seeing students make progress, grasp complex concepts, and learn! I aim to make every session not only informative but fun.
Connection with Students:
I focus on establishing and maintaining a strong connection with each student. Being close in age to students and having recently navigated similar academic paths, I can relate to students more and also address their unique learning styles.
Strategic Lesson Planning:
I craft every lesson to best match the student's skill set and progress, targeting weaker areas while introducing new concepts and challenging the student in an enjoyable way.
Exceptional Value:
At a rate of $15 per hour, lessons are highly affordable, and are packed with individualized, high-quality material and learning.
My Background in Math
I've always enjoyed finding creative solutions to difficult math problems, and helping others do the same. For almost as long as I can remember, math has been a passion of mine, and something that I've had a good amount of success in. For instance, I've placed 20th in the state in the state-wide MathCounts competition in my 8th grade year, and earned a 790/800 on the math section of my SAT. In school, I've taken math up to Honors Algebra II, and I hope to culminate all that I have learned through these experiences into an effective, individualized, and fun learning experience for your student!
Viola and Violin Tutoring
I have been playing viola for over four years now, starting in the summer before my 6th grade year. I've always enjoyed the instrument, and have found it to be a very enriching hobby and use of time. I've performed solos at the ISSMA competition, county and statewide levels, worked in quartet groups, sat first chair in the Indianpolis Symphony Orchestra's Side by Side program, and successfully auditioned into Carmel High School's top orchestra, one of the best in the state. Although I have little experience playing violin, the two instruments are very similar, which can allow me to effectively teach violinists as well, especially at the beginner level. In my lessons, I aim to use my hundreds of hours of experience to help students achieve mastery and fulfillment from their instrument!
